… Until the universe begins to repeatedly smack you over the head with it.

Want a relationship with someone? Back off and see if you’re good enough friends. If you are, people will start asking if you’re a couple.

Want to earn money doing what you love? Back off and see if you do enough good work. If you do, people will start asking if you’re for sale.

Want more friends? Back off of the chase, go to places you like, and be yourself. If there’s friend material around, they’ll come to you.

Bottom Line: Just set your goals and have fun. When the time is ripe (and in most cases, overripe), you’ll have an abundance of results, especially when you’re not looking.

And if you’re the impatient sort, remember that the more stuff you do (and the more fun you have), the quicker they’ll come.

Are we wasting time, or do we have a purpose?

If we’re just wasting time, then it makes sense to pass the hours buried in the nonphysical. Instead of doing anything, we want to “relax,” sitting in front of the TV, not having to think. We’re not building any skills, just letting our minds drain away. We may think it’s rest, but don’t we have sleep for that?

In fact, sleeping too much is just as detrimental. We do nothing. We do not think.

If it’s possible at all that we have a purpose, wasting time is idiotic. We have a limited amount of time, and if nothing else, we should build the skills we need to expand it.

If there is no purpose, then anything but pure, blissful happiness is also a waste of time. Spending any moment unhappy when it’s so simple to become happy is a terrible thing to do.

If you have a purpose, it’s silly to spend any moment not working towards it. If you don’t, it’s silly to spend any moment not being happy.

Neither of these possibilities include idle sitting time. They both involve movement, action.

Bottom Line: You cannot properly exist, whether or not you have a central purpose, without constantly doing something you like. Following your passion is not an option. It’s a necessity.

It is said that a Pisces is an old soul–incarnated many times in search of true fulfillment and perfection. The life of a Pisces is the most difficult obligation for a soul to choose.

While the zodiac begins with Aries, it ends with Pisces. Aries is birth, Pisces eternity.

I’ve often had the feeling that I’ve been through more lives than anyone else. I thought that through all of these lives, I had acquired some kind of skill or talent, longing for ultimate perfection, and that now, as a Pisces, I have that perfection; and I have no idea how to use it.

I had this idea before I went looking for descriptions of my sign. It’s no wonder. Pisces’ are known to be incredibly intuitive.

The Pisces is a blend of all the other signs, which may explain why the typical Pisces will see a little of themselves in everyone.

The Pisces has:
The spirit of Aries,
The relaxation of Taurus,
The quick cleverness of Gemini,
The fun-loving of Cancer,
The outgoingness of Leo,
The tastefulness of Virgo,
The fairness of Libra,
The mystery of Scorpio,
The frankness of Sagittarius,
The devotion of Capricorn,
The analysis of Aquarius,
and the intuition of its own sign.

Pisces’ rarely know anything of convention, and as a result are somewhat clumsy with societal norms. Pisces’ aren’t fond of playing mind games, and as its basis is primarily in social convention, it is something Pisces’ find difficult to understand.

The life of a Pisces can be considered the last lesson. A Pisces knows all of the flaws of the other signs and knows precisely how to erase them. Pisces’ almost always have incredible talents, especially in the arts, and have an emotional intuition unmatched by other signs. However, despite this apparent perfection, the Pisces rarely knows its worth.

The reason a Pisces’ life is so difficult is because they suffer from low self-esteem, being tossed around by the imposing opinions of others and not knowing what to believe. As a result, most Pisces’ are bitter and withdrawn, the sort to close themselves off and then lament of their loneliness. It often takes a long time to get to know a Pisces, and to gain its trust.

Two of the greatest and most well-known Pisces are Albert Einstein and Michelangelo. Aside from their talents, Einstein is known for his good humor (a very Pisces quality), Michelangelo is almost universally known for his bitterness and spite (also a very Pisces quality).

The two fish of the sign swim in opposite directions: One downstream, one upstream. The last lesson of the Pisces is to learn to swim upstream. It’s to gain self-confidence, work against all odds and all criticism, and to become strong. To swim upstream is the only way a Pisces can resolve its bitterness and find true happiness. To swim downstream and “go with the flow” is to never quite reach its dreams.

The main talents of the Pisces are art, intuition and understanding. Its main challenges are its timidity and self-doubt.

Pisces women in particular are incredibly potent. Seduction is their strong point, and they often find men attracted to them like bees to honey. But while many come, few are admitted, since a Pisces has difficulty like no other in finding a suitable partner. To be the partner of a Pisces, one must be strong and resolute, and willing to mend wounded feelings and deter paranoid thoughts–they will come often. One must also be able to lend a bit of self-confidence in the form of encouragement.

Looking back, I’ve found all of this to be true. I hate looking like a braggart, but my talents are immense. But it’s really no help, since my self-confidence is lacking. I’ve always felt that this was a battle I must tackle on my own, but one I all too gladly would accept help with.

The Pisces is always concerned with humanity and its future. Looking at the Vitality of Man (concerning humanity and its fate), once my overall philosophy, and Artisia, my idealistic country, this cannot be more clear.

All that is is is.

When you really break it down, all that exists is the material world. Our mental constructs don’t actually exist. The only reason to keep a construct is to perpetuate said construct.

Social rules cease to exist when the minds that follow them cease to exist. But a painting can be enjoyed without rules, as can a piece of music, or a delicious piece of food.

There is no need to share the abstract concepts that led to the creation of these things. The objects are enough.

Responsibility/Omnipotence

There are an infinite number of possibilities. The one you’re experiencing now is a result of what’s most important to you. Since you can change this, and anything else you feel like changing, you have no right to complain.

Every possibility involves a choice. If something isn’t worth the effort, you’ve chosen not to expend the effort. If it is worth it, you’ve chosen to get it. There’s nothing else you “should have” done.

All that is is is. There is no should.

Personal Integrity

You are at your own mercy. Every man lives for himself, and is not entitled to the fruits of others’ talents and labor. Since man can do anything he pleases, he’s also able to be true to himself, always. In which case, this code obliges man to do whatever he pleases. If someone else has a problem with it, he is obliged to do what is necessary for his own pleasure.

Personal Integrity is the pledge to hold yourself above all else. Whether that means subjective values like success, wealth, and likability, or blood-line, society, and conventionalism. There is nothing more precious than self.

Vitality of Man

This came from a dream I once had, and the idea has stuck with me ever since.

The Vitality of Man is his ability to control whatever he pleases, and his obligation not to choose good or evil, nor a purpose to devote himself to exclusively. It’s mankind’s duty to explore and create, to push the envelope and go further than his brethren have in the past.
If you look at the scope of the universe, and how pathetically tiny we are, it becomes more and more evident that this tiny world needs to expand. To become ever greater, in order to have meaning. Even if that means leaving others behind in the dust. We can’t afford to wait for them. We can’t afford to slow down.

So away with stupid ethics, away with sluggish morality. What we can do, we should do, and we can do anything. We are to progress. Forward motion.

It’s personal development on a global, even universal level.
Going forward, and getting there fast is the name of the game. And to continue doing it. There is no end. There is always better.

All that is is what we can see. So let’s create something tangible. Maybe many somethings. Because we can. If there are problems, we can fix them, because we started them. We can’t do this for anyone else, just for ourselves, for our own pleasure. Because it feels great to progress, to learn/create/experience/do new things. Because we have to. Because there’s nothing else and nothing better for us to do.

All we must do is survive, enjoy, and progress. Because we can.
